Chris: Why would anyone want to take a forty year old TV series and take all the original special effects out of it to replace them with shiny new computer graphics? justin: I dunno - I wouldn't mind seeing TOS again, some new effects would be great. As long as they don't try so sanitise the scene where Kirk shoots 'first' and destroys an entire alien race because they were "freaks".
justin: Funnily enough, in the same vein a guy is already remaking an episode of the Doomsday project as hobby piece. Give it a go.
