Marcus: I find Garfield Minus Garfield (cartoon strips with the cat surgically removed) inexplicably hilarious.

As you said, you are over-tired. I over-rule you on this, and I put it to you that they are, in fact, not funny.
Marcus:
Looked again this morning and still funny. You just don't "get them".
justin:
"Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about [...] the empty desperation of modern life?" - surely apart from the odd cat joke, that's what Garfield is about?

I think they're pretty hilarious. I guess you just see how absurd jon is when you realize he's doing all this around his cat?

Garfield should have the honour to no longer burden Jon, and take his own life. Hint: Marcus.
