He's also a fan of the Microwriter Agenda, too - I used to have one of those, until it was stolen. Stolen, for goodness' sake! It was useful as a conversation starter (along the lines of "what on earth is that thing?" but rather than replacing it I got a Filofax instead. You don't lose your entire memory because the batteries have gone flat when you use a Filofax...
