Which is better, 3ds max or Maya? Some detest the very thought of asking such a question while others relish in it. I believe the debate has its place but perhaps some get put off by it because it usually turns into the proverbial flame war. Digital Raster asks the question and also has a short video that explains many of the key differences.
justin: I guess if the question means nothing to you, then you wont want to watch the Quicktime video - but if like me you fidn the question intriguing, then you'll find this video educational.
justin: NB: This video is part of a much larger set available from Digital Raster designed to orient artists switching from Max to Maya or vice versa. The also produce a handy tool which will alter Max's viewport navigation to emulate Maya's.
