The Year 2038 problem. Try setting the year of your system clock to 2038+. On Windows, it keeps chugging - several programs crashed, however. I guess they weren't able to handle sixty four bit integers.
gareth: Ubuntu 64bit keeps on rolling just fine, due to the fact that it's 64bit no doubt and all the programs have been written to support 64bit integers.
tim: yeah also apparently someone on this ship 'entered a zero into a database field causing a divide by zero error in the ships Remote Data Base Manager which brought down all the machines on the network, causing the ships propulsion system to fail' heheh and it had to be towed back into base!
gareth: I can't believe they use goddamn Windows NT on a boat that requires reliability. Do they reboot every week or so?
