Marcus: I was slightly vexed recently by the crashing of my motorbike and subsequent dislocation of my right thumb. Until I re-located it (Mel Gibson's shoulder trick in Lethal Weapon has nothing on me), my thumb looked a lot like this.
Marcus:
Without being attached to the hand of a fingernail-painted old woman, obviously. That only happens alternate Tuesdays.
gareth:
I like the nailpolish colour.

Is the bike alright?
Marcus:
Scratched up on one side, the gear pedal snapped off, and an indicator casing broken. Bah.
